Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between DahaeDream (the "Company") and its members (the "Member") in connection with the use of the international package-forwarding and purchasing-agent services (the "Services") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. ① "Package Forwarding" means the service whereby, when the Member has goods purchased from Korean online stores delivered to the Company's warehouse, the Company receives, inspects, and repackages them (including consolidation) and ships them to the overseas address designated by the Member.
  2. ② "Purchasing Agent" means the service whereby, at the Member's request, the Company purchases goods within Korea on the Member's behalf and ships them to the overseas address.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. ① These Terms take effect when they are posted on the service screen or otherwise notified to the Member and the Member agrees to them.
  2. ② Where the Company deems it necessary, it may amend these Terms within the scope of applicable laws, and the amended Terms take effect upon notice in the same manner as Paragraph ①.
  3. ③ If the Member does not agree to the amended Terms, the Member may request withdrawal of membership. If the Member continues to use the Services after the notice of amendment, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the amendments.

Article 4 (Member's Obligations and Provision of Information)

  1. ① The Member shall comply with these Terms and matters notified by the Company.
  2. ② When applying for package forwarding, the Member shall accurately enter the information required for the transaction and customs clearance, including the name, recipient's name, personal customs clearance code (or the relevant country's customs ID), email, accurate delivery address, and accurate details of the goods (item name, quantity, price, etc.).
  3. ③ The Member shall bear in full all damages and additional costs arising from incorrect entry or failure to promptly update changes (such as customs delays, fines, and delivery errors), and may not make any claim against the Company.

Article 5 (Inspection and Packaging of Forwarded Goods)

  1. ① The Company performs external inspection and repackaging for consolidation of the goods received from the Member.
  2. ② The Company's inspection is limited to checking obvious external defects, shortages in quantity, and whether the items match. The Company is not responsible for the authenticity, functionality, or minor defects of the products.

Article 6 (Prohibited Items and the Member's Legal Liability — Required)

  1. ① The Member shall not send to the Company's warehouse, or request service for, any of the following items (the "Prohibited Items"):
    1. 1. Narcotics, psychotropic substances, firearms and blades, explosives, flammable substances and chemicals, and other items whose distribution and import/export are prohibited by domestic or foreign law
    2. 2. Counterfeit goods (fake brand products) and items infringing intellectual property rights
    3. 3. Adult or obscene materials and items harmful to public order and morals
    4. 4. Items whose import is prohibited or restricted by the customs or constitution of the relevant country
    5. 5. Perishable food, live animals and plants, and other items unsuitable for air transport
  2. [Company's Right to Open and Inspect] Where the inclusion of Prohibited Items is suspected, where instructed by customs, or where deemed necessary for aviation safety, the Company may open and inspect the packaging of the goods at any time without the Member's separate consent.
  3. [Attribution of Legal Liability] All legal liability arising from the Member intentionally or negligently sending Prohibited Items (including seizure by domestic or foreign customs, refusal of clearance, imposition of fines, criminal complaints and investigations) is attributable entirely to the Member (customer), not the Company.
  4. [Indemnification Obligation] If the Company (DahaeDream) suffers damage due to the Member's shipment of illegal items — such as loss of external credit, business suspension, administrative disposition, or legal litigation costs — the Member shall fully compensate the Company for all such material and non-material damages.

Article 7 (Customs Clearance and Duties)

  1. ① Customs clearance of all goods follows the customs laws and clearance regulations of the relevant country, and customs duties, VAT, and other taxes arising during clearance shall be borne directly by the Member (recipient).
  2. ② All legal liability arising from the Member falsely declaring the value of goods (such as undervaluation), including smuggling, customs delays, and fines, rests with the Member.

Article 8 (Suspension of Services and Disclaimer)

  1. ① The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of Services or bear no responsibility in the following cases:
    1. 1. Force majeure such as natural disasters, war, national emergencies, or epidemics
    2. 2. Delivery delays and accidents due to circumstances of airlines, shipping lines, the relevant country's postal service, or local couriers
    3. 3. Where delivery is impossible or returned due to the Member's fault (sending illegal items, incorrect address entry, failure to submit customs documents, non-payment of duties, etc.)
  2. ② The Company is not liable for indirect damages incurred by the Member due to service interruption caused by temporary scheduled maintenance or technical errors of the website.

Article 9 (Compensation and Limitation)

  1. ① If goods are lost or damaged due to the Company's clear intent or negligence, the Company compensates based on the value of the goods stated by the Member on the delivery application. However, if the Member has falsely stated the value, the lower of the amount on the actual purchase receipt and the stated amount shall apply.
  2. ② The Company does not compensate for damage arising from failure to request special packaging due to the inherent nature of the product (fragile items such as glass and ceramics), or for the original defects of used goods.

Article 10 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company may not disclose or distribute to others, or use for commercial purposes, a Member's personal information learned in connection with providing the Services, without the Member's consent. However, this does not apply where there is a lawful request in accordance with relevant laws by the Korea Customs Service, customs, investigative agencies, and the like.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. ① The laws of the Republic of Korea shall be the governing law for the interpretation of these Terms and for disputes between the Company and the Member.
  2. ② If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Services, the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the Company's address.
