What is DahaeDream?
We offer two services: Personal Shopping — we buy Korean products on your behalf and ship them overseas — and Package Forwarding — we receive items you’ve already bought in Korea and forward them abroad. One account covers both.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes. A free account is required to place orders, make payments, and track your shipments.
Which Korean shopping sites can I buy from?
Almost any Korean online store — Coupang, Gmarket, Naver Shopping, 11st, Musinsa, Olive Young and more. Just send us the product links (URLs).
Which countries do you ship to?
Can I contact you in English?
Yes. You can reach us in English through 1:1 Inquiry, and we reply within 1–3 business days.
Personal Shopping
How do I place a personal shopping order?
Enter the product links, options and quantity on the order form, or use AI Quick Order — just upload a screenshot of your shopping cart. After you submit and charge Dream Cash for the product cost, our staff buys the items; once received and packed, we’ll let you know the final shipping cost.
How much is the service fee?
The personal shopping fee is 4% of the product price, plus the actual international shipping cost. (Product price + 4% fee + shipping)
Are there items you can’t buy or ship?
Some items are restricted by international postal rules: batteries (lithium, etc.), products containing gas (lighters, sprays), items with alcohol content (some cosmetics, diffusers), liquids, drugs/medicines/food, animals & plants and their by-products, jewelry/gold/silver, dangerous goods (guns, knives), fur, ivory, and more. Value limits also apply (varies by country; note items over US$800).
Package Forwarding
How does package forwarding work? Where is the warehouse address?
Send your items prepaid to the Korean warehouse address we provide after you apply. Once they arrive, our staff weighs them and tells you the shipping cost; after payment, we forward them overseas.
Can you combine multiple packages into one box?
Yes. We consolidate multiple packages into a single box for free to cut your international shipping cost. (Forwarding fee: free for up to 2 parcels, then KRW 2,000 each)
Payment (Dream Cash)
How do payments work?
All payments use the Dream Cash charge-and-deduct system, and Dream Cash is topped up via PayPal. Purchases, fees and shipping are deducted from your Dream Cash balance.
How do I top up Dream Cash with PayPal?
On the charge page, choose PayPal and pay — your Dream Cash is topped up. (No PayPal account needed; you can pay by credit card.)
When do I pay?
Personal Shopping: charge the product cost at order time, then top up the fee and shipping after packing.
Package Forwarding: charge the shipping cost after your items arrive and are packed.
What is the refund policy?
Returns: If a parcel is returned before international dispatch (e.g., it fails the customs X-ray due to a customer error), the international shipping fee is refunded. If returned after dispatch (refused or undelivered), the international shipping fee is not refunded (return freight may be charged).
PayPal: Refund methods vary by payment type; card refunds can take up to 30 days, and PayPal refunds are limited after 45 days from the original payment (in which case any transfer fee is the customer’s responsibility). This follows PayPal’s policy.
Problems & policies
What if my item is damaged or lost in transit? (Insurance)
Overseas loss with EMS is very rare (about 1 in 300), but without insurance, compensation follows Korea Post rules and is limited (a minimum of about KRW 70,000 + KRW 7,870 per kg + the EMS fee), and DahaeDream cannot offer separate compensation. We recommend insurance for high-value items. (Insurance starts at about KRW 2,500, increasing by about KRW 1,000 per US$100 of coverage.)
What if I cancel after packing is complete?
If you cancel after packing, the service fee already incurred must still be paid. For personal shopping, if the store allows returns, a return fee applies; if the store refuses the return, the item cannot be returned.
Can I change my delivery address?
You can change the delivery address up until the payment request stage after packing. After that, the shipment has already been booked and the address cannot be changed.
